Successful internet marketing is a skill that takes time to learn and implement, and there are many different directions that you can turn. Blogging, article writing, back linking, and exact match domain names are all fantastic methods of driving traffic to your website, but another way that is often overlooked is by creating YouTube videos on various subjects and including a backwards link.
Creating YouTube videos is actually very easy to do; especially most computers today are equipped with cameras and free software such as Windows Movie Maker. You can sit yourself in front of your computer and start talking about any subject that you have in mind, and it’s actually a very easy process. Don’t think that you have nothing to say or are not expert enough about any subject to talk about it. Everyone has an extensive background with various personal experiences, and with the right amount of thought and retrospect you will definitely be able to remember something that happened to you that others will love to hear about!
You have had specific successes or even failures that have made you who you are today, and by telling others you can help them to avoid the pain and struggles you had in your personal life. You can give people the benefit of your experiences and also inspire them to achieve great things in their own lives.
There are many other advanced software items that you can consider if you are looking to go all out, but they are not necessary if you have limited funds. Camtasia is a really nice paid editing system, and is probably the preferred one among those who create videos on a daily basis. It has great titling features, and also screen capture capabilities. If you are looking to spend money, then you can’t go wrong with Camtasia. For others, Adobe Premier is also a good option.
For most people however, start with using the free Windows Movie Maker and get used to creating movies before deciding to upgrade later. You may find that this software has all the features that you need and are happy with. Many people have no further need of any more advanced capability than that which they offer.
The average video does not have to be very long, and most are only a few minutes in length at the most. The minutes will fly by quickly and you’ll be surprised at how much you will be able to talk about and how long you can go! You may need to make a few tries at the video before you are completely satisfied with how it looks and sounds, but just remember that with more experience the easier it will become. You will soon become as comfortable speaking front of your computers camera as you are with your friends and relatives! The more you do it, the better you will become.
Finding subjects to talk about are as easy as it would be if you were blogging or writing about it. Think of something that you’ve done in the past or have had a success with, and just drill down to a specific niche. For example, one of my hobbies is jet skiing. I can create many videos on the various sub-topics such as where I jet ski, some of my trips, jet ski touring, jet ski tricks, trailering, what ramps to use, traveling with a jet ski, insurance, boat clubs, and many other topics! The sky is the limit, and I am sure you will be able to do the same. Be creative and go for it!
